About Josh

My photographic journey began in 2016, selling cameras at a popular electronic goods retailer. Dedicating my time into learning how they work, my interest snowballed and I ended up picking up my dad’s camera, taking it traveling and honing my skill.

The following year I began studying at Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA), and being ‘the guy with the camera’ quickly began photographing a large number of gigs, performances and events. This enabled me to improve my gear and expertise. Taking any opportunity I came across, I found myself photographing at nightclubs, festivals, theatres, bars, art galleries and more - I love seeking out great locations where I can be in amongst the action and capturing meaningful moments.

So why weddings?  I’ve always loved photographing a broad range of subjects; people, grand interiors, landscape, music and nightlife. I found weddings to be the natural progression from here, cohesively bringing all these elements together. My amazing partner has also inspired me to capture the love that others share from documenting our own lives as proud parents to a spoilt dog. So if you are looking for a wedding photographer in Shropshire, surrounding areas or further afield, consider getting in touch.

What is my style? A fan of cinema, I have a real passion for making every moment look like it is taken from a movie, great people and locations being the perfect recipe for this. Capturing moments in their raw form, my photographic style leans more into the documentary category, capturing genuine moments, but without being a fly on the wall - I like to be unobtrusive but there when you need more set up shots. I always feel this is best visualised so to get a better idea, check out my portfolio.

More interested in interior / architectural photography? I also offer packages to photograph interiors and architecture whether it’s your dreamy Airbnb, property for sale, marketing for your business or simply a location you love. Check out these shots here.

Let’s capture some memories!
